U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft assigned to the 391st and 389th Fighter Squadrons sit on the flight line at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, on Dec. 6, 2010. The Strike Eagle is a dual-role fighter designed to perform air-to-air and air-to-ground missions and has an array of avionics and electronics systems that gives the F-15E the capability to fight day or night at low altitude in any weather.
